象彦の明治～大正期の下絵である置目（おきめ：蒔絵の描きはじめに使用する図案）を銀研切り蒔絵で描きました。
雲間から月が現われその姿がくまなく見える時を待つ「観月」のひとときを表現しました。
外側は落ち着いた艶消しの漆黒となっています。
銀研切り蒔絵の作品は象彦ではおよそ１００年ぶりの製作となりました。
＊銀研切り蒔絵（ぎんとぎきりまきえ）：黒く描くところに炭粉、銀色の部分に銀粉を蒔き、全面に漆を塗り込んだ後、炭で絵を研ぎ出す研出し蒔絵の一種。
Zohiko’s drafts from the Meiji and Taisho periods (1868-1926) were drawn on Natsume.
It represents the time of “Kangetsu”, when people wait for the moon appear from among the clouds and see the moon in all its glory.
The outside is matte-black.
The maki-e is produced with a delicate technique using silver, which is the first time in 100 years that Zohiko has revived this technique.
